Krasnodarskiy krai, Sochi - On April 19-21, 2009 the Third Russian Credit Union Forum was held and gathered for three days specialists of credit cooperation from various regions of Russia, neighboring and foreign counties.

There was working visit of the delegation of the World Council of Credit Unions (WOCCU) on February 1-3 to the Russian Federation. The delegation included Brian Branch (Executive Vice-President WOCCU), Anne Cochran (WOCCU Director, President of the Louisiana Credit Union League), Alan Moore (Executive Director of the Irish League of the Credit Unions Foundation) and Pawel Grzesik (Representative in Warsaw, the National Association of Cooperative Savings and Credit Unions, Poland).

There is not only great interest to the three-day seminar “Credit consumer cooperative operation after approval of the Federal Law “On credit cooperation” developed by the Training Center of the Credit Union League but continues growing.

On December 1-3 the Center for Credit Union Servicing (Saint-Petersburg) jointly with the Training Center of the Credit Union League (Moscow)  organized and carried out the training-seminar “Creation and effective operation of remote offices (branches)”. Tatiana Smolei, regional leader of the Mutual Credit Fund (Saint-Petersburg) and Natalia Kasatkina, leader of CU “Gorodskoy” (Barnaul, Altaiskiy krai) developed and carried out the seminar and shared experience of organization of effective operation of remote offices.

On November 15 there was joint festive celebration of the 15^th anniversary of the Credit Union League and one of the oldest credit unions in Russia, active member of the League – Credit Union “Rainbow”!

Electronic library was created for members within the framework of the program on training of financial literacy in CCCC "Reserve" (Altai area). It contains books on drafting personal financial plan, ability to earn and spend earned means competently, saving rules, start business and draw financial success and etc.
